Alþjóðlegt orgelsumar/International Organ Summer - Johannes Zeinler - Tónleikar

Austurríski organistinn Johannes Zeinler er fæddur árið 1993. Í byrjun sótti hann nám við tónlistarskóla í heimabæ sínum nálægt Vín, 

og hélt síðan áfram námi og lærði á orgel hjá Klaus Kuchling og Pier Damiano Peretti og á píanó hjá Christiane Karajev og síðan lá leið hans í kirkjutónlistarnám við University of Music and Performing Arts í Vín. 

Eftir útskrift stundaði hann nám á orgel og sembal í Toulouse hjá Michel Couvard og Jan Willem Jansen (á orgel) og Yasuko Bouvard (á sembal). Hann er nú í meistaranámi við Claviorganum í The University of Music and Theatre í Hamborg, Þýskalandi þar sem aðaláherslan er á flutning miðaldartónlistar hjá Wolfgang Zerer á orgel og hjá Menno van Delft á sembal.

Eftir velgengni í alþjóðlegum orgelkeppnum í Wiesbaden 2012, Kitzbühel 2012 og Liechtenstein 2013 vann Johannes tvenn virt fyrstu verðlaun, fyrst á alþjóðlegu orgelkeppninni í St. Albans árið 2015 og síðar hið fræga „Grand Prix de Chartres“ árið 2018.

Johannes hefur spilað á helstu tónlistarhátíðum og má þar nefna; í kapellunni í King's College í Cambridge, Bavokerk í Haarlem, Dómkirkjunni í Poitiers, Philharmonic Hall í Essen og Notre Dame dómkirkjunni í París.

Born in 1993, the Austrian organist Johannes Zeinler started his musical career at the local music school in his native town near Vienna. He continued his studies in organ with Klaus Kuchling and Pier Damiano Peretti, piano with Christiane Karajev and church music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Following his graduation, he studied the organ and harpsichord for one year in Toulouse under Michel Bouvard and Jan Willem Jansen (Organ) and Yasuko Bouvard (Harpsichord). He is currently studying for his Masters in Claviorganum at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg, where he is focusing on early music repertoire with Wolfgang Zerer in organ and Menno van Delft in harpsichord.

After early successes at international organ competitions in Wiesbaden 2012, Kitzbühel 2012 and Liechtenstein 2013, Johannes won both the prestigious First Prize at the International Organ Competition in St.Albans in 2015 and the renowned “Grand Prix de Chartres” in 2018.

As recitalist he has been invited to major festivals and venues like the Chapel of King’s College, Cambridge, the Bavokerk in Haarlem, the Cathedral of Poitiers, the Philharmonic Hall in Essen and Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
